Boogie Always Flops: A Lesson on Physics

Let's talk about DeMarcus Cousins, big guy right? Time to dive straight to the point, Boogie isn't fooling anyone with his flops.

March 23rd, 2019 (Jose Carlos Fajardo/Bay Area News Group).

DeMarcus Cousins Stats:
Height: 6'11"
Weight: 269 lbs
Girth: Big ol' dude

Basically, the guy is a beefcake. According to Psych Guides, the average NBA player weighs 222.04lbs (Body Image 2019, Psych Guides). With this information we can deduce that Boogie weighs well above average for the NBA. Because he weighs a lot more than the average player, he should get the message that no one is fooled by his flops. It's just basic physics. If Boogie bumps into someone and falls over, the odds that he himself should fall are slim. Sure, he could just be slipping on the basketball court. If that's the case, he needs new shoes because blatantly flailing like a ballerina isn't going to improve any ref's call. Boogie, you need to get the message, stop flopping, you aren't going to push a foul in your favor on these refs.

Kevin Durant isn't Playing in the Finals, Face it America.

Achilles or lower calf injury, Kevin Durant is not playing in the finals. You heard it here, probably not first though. The Warriors have been playing the media since Kevin hurt himself. Is this a ploy to confuse the Raptor's game plan? If so, it hasn't been working.

With the series at 3-1, Raptors leading, the Warriors really need to scramble in order to make this next win. The Warriors also do not have home court advantage putting them in an extra crappy situation. Maybe they can pull through and make the Raptors blow a 3-1 lead rather than them this time, but there has not been much improvement in game play since game one, especially because Klay Thompson isn't playing as well. If this series has taught us something, Steph can't just be a one-man show.

With the every game of the finals, Durant has been questionable to play until the day before or day of they announce that he will not be playing. Of course this happened to game 5 as well, which is airing tomorrow June 10th. Durant could be overcompensating his heel/calf injury to make himself feel more important to the team, and if that's his plan, it's working. His injury must be "heeled" enough for him to not be wearing an ankle brace, and if there is a game 6, maybe the warriors will make it to game seven with a Durant comeback. This is highly unlikely, because without Kevin Durant in game 5, there will be no game six, period. The questionability for game five leads me to believe that he is not playing, due to history of these NBA Finals, therefore, the Raptors are winning in 5.
