Is Tom Brady Retiring? His Nth Allegation.

After browsing through my usual facebook feed, I passed by a post by Tom Brady that quoted Jay-Z (Rest In Peace Nicole Curran due to the Beyhive debacle).

"Treat my first like my last, and my last like my first!" This begs the everlasting question... is Tom Brady retiring next year?

After some research, I had found no journalistic perspective on this take probably due to the fact that this question comes up every other month. However, when Brady does eventually retire, who is going to take his place?

I was hopeful to have Jimmy Garoppolo as the quarterback to take Tom's place, however due to being traded to the Niners, that idea is no longer promising. My premonition is that Bill Belichick is scheming up a plan for a new QB. The Patriots will have 14 draft picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, and Bill Belichick must be looking out for his next QB. Either that, or he is thinking about taking his benched QBs out for a spin.

Tom Brady just came out saying that he would love to play until 45 but this next year is his "most important year" (Today, June 9th 2019). Obviously because Tom is a machine, he may be able to make it that long, but why is he so set on this year being the most important of his career. Surely retirement could be a possibility. Without Rob Gronkowski, Tom will have to push further to try and get his seventh ring. Yes, the Patriots have Julian Edelman who is a beast and a half (some of that having to do with speeding up his recovery process with 'roids), however is the current team enough for them to secure their next ring? If they do not secure a 7th ring, is Tom Brady not going to retire until he gets it? If they don't win Super Bowl LIV, is Belichick going to search for that new quarterback, or post-pone it until Tom decides to retire. Looks like we are just going to have to see what this next season brings Brady, Bill and the Patriots.
